Ironman World Championships Letter

I hit the "send" button on this a minute ago.... (click to enlarge)

I felt it was only fair that I actually bring my concern to the organizers themselves before it ends up on the pages of magazines and newspapers (hopefully).

I don't enjoy writing letters to info@ e-mail addresses, which is essentially what this one went to.  I always picture an over-worked admin assistant emptying that mail box once a month....

We'll see what happens.  Next one is going to the Boston Athletic Association!

One thing is certain, nothing will change if someone doesn't make an effort to push the process. Good job in taking that on.

You rock, Meyrick!! You make such a strong point...I'll be surprised if they don't respond. Wouldn't be smart on their end. Good luck and let me know if you need others to email in support. Cheers!

I can't see how anyone could argue with the points made in your letter so I hope you get a favorable response. Maybe if you contacted some of the pro athletes to get their support as well, it might help to move things along. If there's one thing pros understand, it's competitive desire.

Great letter, I hope you get a response. I sent mine on the day of Ironman, not sure how long it takes them to weed through all the emails after the race but Im hopeful both of ours get read. Good job as always,
